Pain from an Injury:
Painful injuries to the neck and back tear loose the connective tissues that hold the vertebra of the spine together. The injured muscles, ligaments and tendons recover enough and after a few days or weeks you feel fine again. The spine however remains misaligned.

The Misaligned Spine
- Lying down one leg is shorter and one is longer.
- Standing up one hip is higher and one hip is lower.
- The body is twisted.
- Muscles are imbalanced.
- The abnormal movement weakens the spine.
- The discs and joints begin to break down.

Episodes of Pain
When you are tired, stressed or working too long or too hard the spine begins to give way and you begin to experience episodes of pain. Over time the episodes happen more often and get worse.
|
Continuous Pain, Worse at Times:
As the joints and discs break down the pain from the condition is continuous and flares up even more with activity.

Spinal Degeneration
The misalignment of the spine is a progressive degenerative condition that gets worse over time and causes spinal degeneration. The longer your spine is misaligned the worse it gets.
