(To Correct Spinal A Misalignment)
The NUCCA procedure is based on measurement, observation and reason and all corrections are based on objective evidence. By using measurements on pre-Xrays and post X-rays, and the Anatometer we can know that your spine is misaligned or has been corrected to a normally aligned position.

The NUCCA procedure uses X-rays of the head and neck with a focus on the Atlas or first cervical Vertebra. A three-dimensional model of the relationship of the head and neck to an orthogonal axis (using frontal, transverse and sagital planes) allows the doctor to determine the exact direction and degree of the misalignment of the head and neck. This determines the most effective correction with minimal force to realign the entire spine using the atlas vertebra to introduce corrective forces to the entire spine. For a demonstration of a misalignment and its correction MY MISALIGNMENT will allow you to view a sample. Or, if you are patient you can see how your spine misaligns and how it corrects.
One of the unique features of the NUCCA procedure is the long-term stability of the adjustments or corrections. Patients are not adjusted on every office visit. Examinations are made showing the spine in a “normal” position and needing to be left alone. When normally aligned the entire spine functions in a balanced, self-maintaining manner and needs to be left alone in its normal position unless it is misaligned again. It is not necessary to adjust the spine over and over again when it is truly corrected and stabilized.

What can I expect from the NUCCA Procedure?
The NUCCA procedure is designed to correct the misaligned or subluxated spine. Many people are unaware of the many problems caused by or associated with the spine or of the benefits of having the spine corrected. If you are one of these, you are suffering needlessly and you may be continuing to treat these symptoms as the structure of the body continues to break down and as the physical problems, symptoms and conditions increase and limit a full experience of life.
Most patients experience immediate relief, even from years of pain and suffering. As your spine stabilizes in it’s normal position the progressive degenerative process is reversed and recovery begins. It takes one month to recover completely for every year your spine has been misaligned.
In the beginning you will feel better when your spine is in its normal position and worse if the correction does not stabilize and needs to be adjusted again. As you recover, when your spine is normal you will feel much better and when it misaligns again it will be “not so bad.”
The final stages of recovery will allow you to experience life as it is supposed to be and if your spine misaligns again it will be inconvenient, but will not be bad unless you leave it misaligned for several months and the symptoms begin to return.
Even though patients often experience fast relief and maximum recovery, it is keeping the spine corrected over time that produces the greatest benefits and the quality of life that many of our patients are now experiencing.
Once you become aware of the quality of life that is possible you can choose to live free of the effects of the subluxated spine rather than living from crisis to crisis allowing the body to continue to get worse. Keeping your spine corrected for as long as you live is smart and makes sense.
